Doorstep trash pickup is a convenient service provided in many apartment complexes where residents can leave their trash outside their door for collection. Just bag your trash, place it in the provided container, and set it outside your door during designated times.

Each complex has specific pickup times. Generally, you should put your trash out in the evening, and it will be collected by early the next morning. Check your complex’s guidelines for exact times.

Yes, typically large items, electronics, hazardous materials, and recyclables are not accepted in doorstep pickup. Your apartment’s guidelines will have a detailed list of prohibited items.

Trash should be securely bagged and tied to prevent spills and pests. Place it in the designated container provided by your complex, if applicable.

If you miss the designated pickup time, you’ll need to keep your trash until the next scheduled pickup day. Leaving trash outside your door outside of the designated times can attract pests and may be against complex rules.
